Bride, you don't want to miss this:
Epic Portraits of The Bride Alone
Almost each of my clients usually say things like, nothing too posed, we like documentary of the celebration, we want it to look effortless, we’re not good in front of camera. I truly couldn’t agree more, for most of the day, but hear me out!
Imagine you 10 or 40 years from now thanking me profusely for making you do this. In fact she will forever be mad at you if you read this blog and still said something like “but I’m so awkward” “it feels selfish, tacky, I just want a documentary of enjoying the party with everyone around me.”
Yes we’ll get those, I’m a “noticer” and moment collector by profession. But give me just 30 minutes in your timeline with you, in a private setting like your getting ready room, and we will focus on this extremely special moment in life for you.
I mean how many times are you planning to be a bride? How many times will you be this exact age and have a chance to document it in a jaw dropping photography.
Like Ellie here, we can also take over the beautiful work your florist created, kick everyone else out of the room, have the planner bring you a cocktail for encouragement and then… well then you have to trust the process and let me lay you on the floor.
Don’t laugh just yet. This position is so different from your usual practiced pose, that you’re able to shed away your preconceived notions of how you should look, and just pose from within, Love the camera with your eyes, or close them and take a moment to love YOU.
I’m pretty sure your groom will love these photos too. After 20 minutes of self love with flowers, we can invite him over for a romantic kiss….
And off we go, back to the party and capturing some more in the moment action and laughter with your people.
